Activities

Canoeing

Onsite activities include the huge swimming pool (13 x 6 metres), boules court, outdoor table tennis, and CornHole Chucking, with plenty of space to lay in the sunshine and relax.

Canoeing/Kayaking along the Vezere or Dordogne is hugely relaxing and enjoyable. The rivers are rarely more than a metre deep, and there are canoe rental companies within walking distance of our gites.

A walker’s paradise – marked paths through woodland, alongside farmhouses and ancient ruins, fabulous views, and country restaurants.

hot air balloon

Hot Air Ballooning is a truly wonderful way to view the beauty of the Dordogne countryside.

Paragliding (Parapente) Several companies organise flights - visit www.dordogne-parapente.com, and www.parapentevalley.com

Wonderful cycling : a new pathway, just for walkers and cyclists, already exists from LesEyzies to LeBugue 10kms and will eventually go from Bergerac to Montignac 77kms.

Much of the pathway runs alongside the river. Cycling is a very popular sport in France on all roads, and French drivers respect the safety of cyclists.
