From golf to horse riding, biking, canoeing or fishing, the Dordogne has something to offer everyone.

Canoes and kayaks are available to hire along the banks of the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. Being wide and generally shallow, both rivers can be enjoyed whether you are a beginner or a skilled amateur and there is no better way to appreciate the stunning Dordogne scenery.

For golfers there are good courses in the area. The course at Le Bugue is 18 holes and is just 15 kilometres from Le Relais des Roches. Tennis lovers can use the local municipal courts in Les Eyzies.

If you enjoy cycling or hiking, then the area has some tremendous walks and cycle routes with breathtaking scenery. Come in the autumn and you may well discover wild mushrooms as you trek. We can recommend a local cycle hire company that can deliver bikes to your cottage.

If you are an angler, there are plentiful rivers and lakes in which to fish. From Chub to Carp almost all types of fish can be caught.

Go-kart racing, air parks, pony trecking, canoeing, pre-history parks, castles and caves to discover, water & leisure parks, mini golf, lakes with beaches, this list is endless!
